A vital shift in environmental action is necessary, moving beyond merely addressing climate change to comprehensively safeguarding nature. The GoNaturePositive! consortium is at the forefront of actively shaping the concept of a nature-positive economy, a crucial step towards improving urban and rural resilience across economic, social, and ecological dimensions while regenerating ecosystems and respecting planetary boundaries. The EU-funded project, recently launched with a dynamic four-day programme led by Trinity Business School, engaged over 150 participants in exploring pathways and partnerships for a nature-positive economy.

Key insights include the imperative for trans-sector collaboration, the importance of hands-on data for pilot projects, the necessity for innovative financing and business models, and the transformative potential of nature-based enterprises in fostering regenerative economies and ecological well-being.

What we do

  • 02. Create a roadmap that identifies policy and governance pathways towards a nature-positive economy.

  • 03. Demonstrate how nature-positive practices can generate multiple benefits for people and the planet.

  • 04. Harnesses the commitment of an Impact Board of multiplier networks towards achieving a long-term shared vision of the nature-positive economy.
